I am so excited to design quilt book about summer on the farm. I am so blessed to live in the country on a little bit of property. At the writing of this book we have laying hens, turkeys, ducks, goats, and cows. The animals change but the steadiness of owning land is always here.

I love living on a farm and wanted to design a quilt around what farm life means to me. Of course, family is not in my quilt – not sure how I would go about designing that! But, other things that remind me of farm life is in this quilt. Homemade ice cream, lemonade in mason jars on a hot summer day, and apples and pears.

My husband is in the process of restoring a 1956 F100 pickup, so it had to make the cut! Life is busy here. We both have full time jobs and big hobbies. I wouldn’t want it any other way.
