I have been hoping to write a sheep pattern for many years. But just like all my patterns, I mull them around until I find the perfect fabrics. I used the Gratitude and Grace fabrics by Kim Diehl for this pattern, but any fabrics that are a little bright will work just great! A few of these sheep for a table runner, one for a pillow, or more or less to make a quilt the right size for you would all work. And what sheep quilt would be appropriate without a black sheep? Add as many black sheep as you want to your quilt. Maybe for you, one light sheep is what works with all the others black? Again, make it your own. Put your own spin on it and have fun!
